Hey there, fellow event leaders! Are you struggling to sell your awesome coaching program at your virtual event? Well, I’ve got some secrets to share that will make it super easy for you. Today, I’ll explain different types of virtual events and show you how a sales team can help increase your program sales. Let’s dive in!

First things first, let’s understand the different types of virtual events. There are many types like webinars, challenges, masterclasses, three-day seminars, and more. But today, I’ll focus on the top three that work wonders for converting people into buying your coaching program.

The first type is the masterclass. It’s a deep dive into a specific topic, lasting around 60 to 120 minutes. Masterclasses make you look like an expert in your field. Sometimes they’re pre-recorded, which means you miss the chance to speak directly to your audience. So it’s important to find ways to engage them and help them join your programs.

The second popular type is the challenge. Challenges usually last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes per day for at least three days. The goal is to help attendees achieve a specific result during this short period. By providing them with a quick win, you show them the value of engaging with you in the long term. Challenges build engagement and create a sense of community, leading to more conversions and sales.

However, challenges have a downside. Since most of them are free with a VIP upgrade, not everyone who signs up shows up. The show-up rate tends to be below 25%. It takes effort to keep attendees engaged throughout the challenge and prevent them from losing interest.

When it comes to sales, challenges work great for programs ranging from $500 to $2,000. You often don’t even need to have a separate enrollment conversation. But for programs above $2,000, having that conversation becomes crucial for higher conversion rates.

Now, my personal favorite is the three-day seminar. These immersive experiences span two and a half to three days, with at least four hours of teaching each day. When someone commits their time to a seminar, regardless of the price, it shows they are serious. You have the opportunity to teach, interact, and help them make significant breakthroughs in their lives or businesses. With three days, you can truly change lives!

However, multi-day events are more complex to organize. You need to promote the event, create an engaging agenda, handle logistics, and manage sales. Many event hosts face two common challenges: getting attendees to enroll in their coaching program and dealing with exhaustion after the event. Following up with all the attendees can be overwhelming, and there’s a limit to people’s attention after they leave your event.

But fear not, I have a solution for you! Use a sales team during your virtual event to increase your sales significantly. Sales team members can have personalized conversations, address questions and objections, and provide the attention and support attendees need. This can make a huge difference in your sales numbers!
